As a professor I've noticed a lot of my colleagues don't have their own Web site. There are a lot of different reasons, either they don't have the technical skill or they don't have the time to build a site. It's because of that I'm adding an exciting new feature to Profdig that allows anyone in academia to sign up, write, and publish anything they want within seconds. It all starts with choosing from nearly 60 supplied themes. Most of the themes were orginally constructed for a purpose. Some were created to be simple point where you can publish an online diary. A place where it's the design doesn't get in the way of the words. There are other themes that are fun and colorful and allow you to express your wildier side. These types of themes are the perfect solution if you're looking to use your blog as a an all encompassing Web site. Another type of theme was built to be more traditional, these themes use convention for sidebars, text, and overall layout.
